Announcements 2/28/16

1)  There will be a meeting Tuesday night for anyone going on the Disney Trip at 6 pm in the SGC Cafeteria.  I will have Chaperone folders ready, the adults will be able to pick which bus they want to ride one, and a Thomas Tours representative will be there if you want to make your final payment toward the trip.

2)  There will NOT be a booster meeting this Thursday.  We decided at the last meeting to push the meeting to next Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 due to scheduling issues.

3)  Solo and Ensemble this Saturday morning for those that signed up to go.  You will need to pay your $10 fee if you have not already, and you will need to find your own way to Northside High School that morning.

4)  Remember to get the word out about the Miss Harmony Beauty pageant in the SGC Cafeteria on March 19.  This has been a great fundraiser for us in the past, and we need this one to do well so that we can purchase the new Band Trailer!

Annoucements 2/21/16

1)  Ensemble Concert this Thursday at 7 pm!  Concert attire, report time at 6 pm so that we can run through the song with Union University.

2)  Jazz Band rehearsal Monday.

3)  8th grade rehearsal Tuesday 6:30-8 in the SGC Band Room.  All Band and Guard members are encouraged to attend to make the 8th graders feel welcome!

4)  Everyone going on the Disney trip needs to retry on their uniform this week and put it on a mobile rack so that we can get the band members that don't have uniforms fitted.

Announcements 2/15/16

1)  Jazz Band Rehearsal will be Tuesday this week since we did not have school on Monday.

2)  Butter Braid forms are due back Thursday! 

3)  Remember that the next Rehearsal for the upcoming 8th graders is next Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Band Room.  Everyone is invited to help make these future SGC Band students feel welcome and to get a taste of that awesome marching band sound!

Announcements 2/7/16

1)  The Spring Concert is going to be changed to Tuesday, April 19.  It was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 21.  It will still be in the gym at 7 pm.

2)  Keep selling the Butter Braids.  Remember that there are cash prizes for the top 5 sellers!  They are due back Feb. 18. 

3)  There will be a final documents meeting for the Disney trip on Tuesday, March 1 at 6 pm in the Cafeteria.  There will be a Thomas Tours representative there to answer any final questions you might have.  We will have bus signups for the adults and the adults will also be receiving their Chaperone information folders.
